Pelà vintage racing bicycle. Official team bike from Sanson – Zilioli team. This is not the Zilioli bicycle. Sanson – Zilioli was the name of the team The team was active in 1965 and 1966. The serial number is 6606 so I believe it’s from 1966 When I bought this bicycle I was told it was ridden by Franco Balmamion. The size is quite peculiar, with longer top tube than seat tube, and it’s correct for the rider. Bottom bracket shell thread: ITA. Weight: 10.58 kg circa. Tubes material: steel, Columbus. Group: Campagnolo Nuovo Record. Handlebar: 41 cm end-end. Used bicycle in good cosmetical condition, excellent for its age, some signs of use and aging. Please refer to the pictures. No dents, no cracks, not bent. The bicycle wasn’t used for years and it needs a full service. It wasn’t disassembled to be checked so it could need the replacement of the consumable parts for example tyres, inner tyres, cables, cable tunnels, handlebar tape or grips, brake pads, straps, chain, sprockets, chainrings, bearings, etc… The wheels could be not true and they could need to be straightened or in some cases the rims need to be replaced. All the moving parts could need to be serviced. The bearings paths of all the moving parts could have nicks and they could need to be rectyfied or replaced. The decals could be in bad condition and tending to peel off easily. The bicycle could be a bit more dusty than it looks in the pictures due to stocking it for some time.
