You’re looking at a 1989 Tommasini Diamante, 55cm. This classic, made-in-Italy, steel road bike rides like a dream and is in excellent condition. The Diamante is a very rare model made in the late 80s/early 90s. It incorporates Columbus MS steel, which in itself is very hard to find on any bike because it was only in production for a short period of time. The MS stands for multi-shape and you’ll see that each tube of this bike has a unique shape (round, triangular, oval, lemon, etc); it’s really an interesting frame. It also has a custom paint job from the Tommasini factory, which makes this bike one-of-a-kind. I rebuilt this one from the ground up, purchasing the frame on The Pro’s Closet. You can see all the specs of the frame here. I then sourced all of the best components I could find for the rebuild. In short, this is a fully Italian rebuild of a vintage model, but with some of the finest components available today.
