This lovely mid 70’s Bianchi Rekord 745 illustrates the typical style of classic Bianchi bikes. The classic lugged frame is equipped with a beautiful Campagnolo Novou Record group set. The paintwork is original paint (some touchups have been made – as is typical for bikes of this age). The decals appear to be original. She sports her typical celeste colour that makes this vintage beauty stand out and loved by all Bianchi fans. When it comes to vintage bicycles, there are very few which are as iconic as the famous Celeste Bianchi. This model will be forever associated with the epic victories of Fausto Coppi and Felice Gimondi to name a few. This classic and famous Campagnolo Nouvo Record group set has to be seen to be believed, as it’s in outstanding condition for its age. Her 3T bars and original seat post and 3T seat are complimented by her Mavic GP4 Rims with Campagnolo Hubs and classic Campagnolo pedals and toe straps. Some minor age related patina shows through but any collector would be proud to ride her and display her at events or grace a wall as art. She was recently, thoroughly serviced by a professional mechanic with all parts stripped, greased and oiled. At which time pedals and new cables, bar tape, replacement hoods and tubeless tires were fitted. Since then she has not been ridden, she is in good condition. The frame has no dents, no cracks and is not bent, all parts are working well. This Italian stallion asset will appreciate in value, so it will be sad to see her go but I have to thin the stable.
