Beautiful 1973 Ellis Briggs Favori. Built up with Campagnolo Nuovo Record of the same era. Ellis Briggs is still making hand made works of art, and is the oldest custom frame fabricator in the UK. Asking about this frame I got this reply from Paul Gibson himself. Your frame was built in 1973, its specs are as follows. Allen Key Seat Bolt. It was built for stock originally so it doesn’t give the original finish, although judging by the photos it hasn’t been resprayed or anything. Although it was built to take shallow Campag brakes. Doesn’t say what width the back end is but I would guess it would be 120mm originally. Please inspect the photos carefully, and send any questions you may have.
