The name Rauler is a mix of Raul and the first letter of Reclus (Raul e Reclus). Rauler were originally contracted by Colnago to build frames under Ernesto’s marque until they parted ways in 1984, and were also responsible for Colnago’s pantography. Their own bikes are really well built pieces of classic Italian craftsmanship. This Rauler is made of Columbus tubes and aside from the brake handles which appear to be Dia Compe and the chain, the remainder of the bike i s equipped with Campagnolo components of the Super Record group. This bike runs very quiet and looks stunning with it’s chrome accents and pantograph elements. It’s rolling on Mavic tubular GL 330 rims and new Challenge Elite tires.
