1960s Vintage 56cm Red / Orange Bianchi Record Lugged Steel Racing Road Bike Frame & Fork. Vintage Bianchi 56cm Steel Record Road Bike Frame, Fork, and Headset from the early 1960s. This Record Frame set was a lower level Bianchi offering although it is a Gorgeous Original Paint Frame Set. Frame and fork are Red “kind of Rust Orange now” with Chrome accents, Not a very common color for Bianchi, Quite Rare. Decal says “Made in Italy”. “Bianchi Record” “Edoardo Bianchi” The paint fading shows Campagnolo parts were used on the bike, I suspect it is Columbus tubing but there is no decal. It has Generic Dropouts, Cool Headbadge, and Flared Head tube with a Unique Headset, I Suspect Bianchi’s own Design, Headset is in Real Nice shape open bearing. The Screw on Head Badge seems to be introduced in the 1960s. The Serial # is on the seatpost Lug # 745XX and from my research thats looks to be 1960 Frame. Actual Size: Seat tube 56 cm Center to Center or 58cm Center to Seat Mast Top, The top tube is 56cm center to center, and the Head tube is 146mm tall. The Fork has 100mm Spacing and the Frame has 119mm Rear Spacing for 4 or 5 speed 27 wheels wheels. Italian Bike that takes Italian Standard 36mm x 24 tpi Bottom Bracket. The Frame & Fork is used, it has Real Pretty Paint with Nice Chrome but does show some wear, has scratches, some decal loss, may have slight rust and tiny dents.
