1996 Lotto Vitus 992 Team Bicycle of Peter Verbeken Campagnolo Record Belgium. Hey there, up for sale is the Vitus 992 Lotto Team bike the was ridden by Peter Verbeken of Belgium. Peter rode this bike during the 1996 season. Peter currently works for Ineos Grenadiers team as their Service Course manager. The frameset is aluminum and measures out to a 56.5 top tube, a seat tube of 56cm c-c and 58 c-t. It has a 145 head tube length. The frame has numerous chips, marks and scratches from its former life in the peloton however it has no cracks, dents or corrosion. It is built as I received it from the team. It has a full Campagnolo Record 8 speed group set with 172.5 cranks and 39/53 rings. It has a 13/23 cassette. There is some wear to the drivetrain. It has training wheels which are Record hubs 32 hole laced to Rigid CSB DP18 Aero rims. I mounted new Veloflex clinchers in 23mm. It has a 25.4 seatpost and sponsor correct Vetta Trishock saddle. It has a 100mm Cinelli Stem and a 43cm pair of Cinelli Criterium handlebars and fresh Cinelli cork tape. The bike is not ready to ride, it could use new cables and housing and a headset service. These were never performed because the bike was a wall hanger. They could be performed at a nominal cost if you like.
