Parts are: The Super Record Strada Cranks Square Taper Crank with Double 53t and 42T Chain Rings. The Cranks and Chainrings are 144 BCD, the Length is 170mm, and take Common 9/16 spindle Pedals. Crank Date Code: 1983. Super Record rear Derailleur pat 83 “1983”, record front Derailleur for Double Chainrings and for Vintage 28.6mm Steel seat tubes, Braze on or Bolt on Campy Shifters. Campagnolo Italian 70-SS Bottom Bracket with 36 x 24 thread, Campy Headset, Campagnolo 27mm Seatpost, Super Record Brakes with Black hoods, Record 32 hole hubs with Italian 35 x 24 freewheel thread, campy seatpost clamp bolt, Super Leggeri Road Pedals, 120mm 3TTT Stem, and Gold Water bottle cage screws. The Gold Cobra watter bottle cage is a slightly different hue an not plated like the rest of the Group. Group comes as Shown. This is a Custom Gold Plated Group, I suspect it was done by ICS and real gold, the Parts were previously used and plated gold. In plating you polish to luster then plate, given the nature of aluminum alloy parts (they are Soft) they lightly polished or possibly not polished at all, with that said the parts were in very good used condition before plated. The Gold Parts Look Real Good, but may have slight flaws that are hard to notice, the plating is low microns so mechanical parts still work fine. Plating is an Art an who ever did this did a superbe job. The Insanity of all the work it took to completely take every thing apart and plate it an re assemble it is mind boggling. An Insane amount of work to make this Gold Group, Super Pimp and would Compliment a High End Italian Bike. The Non plated parts of the Rear Derailleur and the Pedals have scratches from being used, gold campy end caps have chips, The Seat post is 27mm that is super rare, plating is fair, unfortunately a Cinderella fit and may not work with the bike you have.
