Back in the early 1980’s, Gita Sporting Goods imported Grandis frames. In one 56cm with Gilco shaped tubing 5 ribs for stiffening? This frame design never. Made it into their yearly dealer catalog so it was probably a unique import. 56cm c/c with 56 top tube. Looked typical 80’s Italian quality so it went off to the Color Factory for a Ruby Red paint. Job, complete with sparkles. It was called “prism” finish. My friend wants to sell it after not riding it for 12+ years. The parts are all good to excellent. The rims are near perfect GP4’s. Aero levers for a cleaner look. Tubular tires that are marginal and need re-glued. 66/42 Cinelli bar and 95mm Grandis Pantograhed stem. What a gem for a 5’10 to 6’1 rider wanting a classic. Former rider is now 70 and cannot. Ride as well as “in the day”. All questions gladly answered. I was in the bike business from 1972 until 2018.
