Here is your chance to own a real Italian classic! You are looking at a Pinarello Dogma 60.1 complete bicycle. This is the actual Team Sky version. The frame, and most of the components, were made in Italy. The finish and construction quality on these handmade Italian frames is exceptional. This is NOT the lower grade Taiwanese frame that Pinarello sells. The frame is a size 50cm. It should fit someone from about 5’4″ to about 5’8″, depending upon the stem length and saddle setback that you like to run. It is shown in the photos set up for me at 5’5. The bike has all the technology and design work you expect from Pinarello’s top-of-the-line bicycle. The asymmetrical chain stays, the double-curved seat stays and front fork, the intense shaping of the main frame tubes, the slightly sloping top tube, the 1″ to 1 1/2″ head set, the aero-shaped seat tube and seat post, it’s all there, and it WORKS! I have over 40 bicycles. And if I’m on a fast, dangerous technical descent, PUT ME ON A DOGMA! This bike has a full Campagnolo Super Record 11-speed / 22-speed group. Even the cassette is a Record cassette. If you have medium to small hands (and most anyone riding this size frame don’t have large hands), you will appreciate the shape of the lever body of the Campagnolo brifters. ” The front shifter has WAY more easy to adjust positions to get exact “truing of the front derailleur than either Shimano or SRAM. No front derailleur rub here. The bike has a 3T stem (more Italian gear) and a set of Profile carbon fiber bars that are of the “short and shallow” variety. Again, this is really good design for the a medium height to smaller rider. The saddle is a Bontrager Ajna Elite. If there is another saddle that you prefer, let me know. There is a good chance that I have one that we could substitute. I have multiple Specialized, Fizik and Bontrager saddles, both men’s and women’s saddles. The wheels are full carbon fiber Reynolds Attack with a set of 23mm Serfas tires. Yes, the photos are not fooling you, as the tires have “Sky Blue” graphics. Fortunately, the cassette spacing for Campy 11-speed and Shimano and SRAM 11-speed is the same. So you can use your Shimano/SRAM wheels with this bike, too. Swiss Stop “yellow” carbon specific brake pads are included. A set of color-matched Elite bottle cages are included, too. No pedals or computer mounts are included. Handlebar tape and saddle options. First, the handlebar tape on the bike is from LizardSkinz. It’s famous for it’s grip, and infamous for the fact that it degrades quickly, even without use. If I can find and Team Sky Blue, I would be willing to use that, too. Second, the saddle on the bike is a white Bontrager Ajna. I have this same saddle in black available. I also have other saddles from Specialized, Bontrager and Fizik available that I could substitute for the Ajna you see in the photos. I have both men’s and women’s saddles. I won’t say that I have everything that is out there, but I have quite a few available. Remember that the Dogma was not available as a complete bike. You had to build these bikes with your own component choices. Like mine, it was a full Campagnolo bike, though it was Campagnolo Chorus, not Super Record like this one. Those simply won’t be considered. As mentioned in the “condition” section above, this bike has seen very little use. Just look at the close-ups of the cassette, the chain, the front derailleur, the inside of the right (drive side) chain stay. All of these areas are typically pretty messy on a used bike. But NOT on this bike. It has spent most of it’s life hanging in a temperature-controlled storage area. The only exceptions are small, cosmetic-only chips in the clear coat of the seat tube and on the outer edge of the front derailleur cage. These are shown clearly in photos #4 and #9. Otherwise, you have only the wear you would expect with a low mileage bike. I’ve even shown close-ups of the brake tracks so that you can judge brake track wear. The “Lizard Skins” bar tape separated and deteriorated almost immediately just as that product is infamous for. I’ll include new white or black bar tape for you. I can wrap the bars with the new tape, if you would like. I just thought you might want to have the option to reposition the lever bodies to your personal preference before the bars are wrapped. Local pick-up here in Austin is available, and is free, or course. You will find my packaging to border on the obsessive! Have already received two questions. First, can you confirm that the wheels are clincher, and not tubular? Yes, the wheels are clincher. Second, is there a blemish on the seat tube? Yes, there is a blemish that was there when I originally received the frame. The blemish is shown clearly in photo #9 at the top of the photo. However, since that photo was taken, this area has been touched up with matching white paint and then a layer of clear coat was put over it. Up close, you can tell that it has been touched up, but from 2-3 feet or more, you can’t tell it. At this point the area is totally sealed. There was never any structural issue. It was a clear coat imperfection from day one. The item “Pinarello Dogma Team Sky, 50cm, Campagnolo Super Record, Reynolds Carbon Wheels” is in sale since Thursday, September 10, 2020.
