Here is an amazing bike. For sale is this used 1964 Bianchi Specialissima road racing bicycle. It has original paint, decals and chrome. The paint is in very good to excellent condition. It has some paint chips and scuffs but really nice. The head lugs are outlined with gold paint. The indentations in the chain stays are also filled with gold paint. The down tube decals are in excellent condition. The Bianchi eagle decal on the seat tube is somewhat faded. The chrome is in very good condition with some light oxidation here and there. It as a 60cm seat tube (center-to-top, 58.5cm c-t-c) and a 57cm top tube c-t-c. It is made of Columbus tubing (Columbus decal is intact at bottom of seat tube). No dents or crash damage. It has the Campagnolo Record group. The shifters and downtube derailleur cable guide look new. The Campagnolo 151 172.5mm cranks are very nice and have 52/47 rings. The original Campagnolo Record bottom bracket has light to normal wear. The Record pedals are in very nice condition. The have Cornez (made in Italy) toe clips and red Binda straps. The front and rear Record derailleurs are in excellent condition. The seat post has a few scuffs. The brakes are Universal 61 in excellent condition. The brake levers are the earlier 60s version with flared ends. They are in excellent condition with a few light scratches. They have new Universal hoods. The green brake cable housing and cables are original Universal parts. The Universal brake pads are new. The Campagnolo top tube cable clips are new. The wheels are Campagnolo Record (no Record) large flange with Stella spokes (4 cross), Fiamme Blue label Brevetto Longhi 36 hole tubular rims, and new (unused) Vittoria Rally tires. The wheels are clean and in wonderful condition. The hub lock nuts are all dated 63. The freewheel is and NOS Regina Gran Sport Corse 13-21. It has a new Regina Gran Sport SC black chain. The saddle is a Brooks B17 Competition Standard with chrome rails. It’s in great used condition. The logo is a little hard to read but the leather is excellent with no ugly scuffs or tears and no rust on the chrome. The handlebars are 3ttt Gran Prix (1st version) that has a few scratches but very nice and 3ttt Gran Prix stem (105mm long) in great condition but the allen binder had some oxidation that was removed. The end plugs are rare Bianchi branded Cinelli plugs. The bike comes with the matching Silca 1960s pump. All parts have been cleaned and re-greased. I spent a long time getting this dialed in and was planning on riding it but other commitments have come up.
