Offered for sale is a used, but in excellent condition, 1980 Bianchi Super Corsa racing bicycle. The frame has a 57 cm seat tube center-to-center (58.5 to top) and a 56.5 cm top tube c-t-c. Columbus SL tubing with Campagnolo chrome dropouts. The original celeste paint, decals, and chrome are in excellent condition. This team version did not have the chrome head lugs. It has low miles. It comes with the Campagnolo Super Record Titanium group with pantographed parts: crankset spider is cutout, brake levers, shifters, chainring, and brake calipers. The right shifter has the Campagnolo Portacatena release. The rear right dropout has the corresponding chain hanger. It has 3ttt Superleggero handlebars (42 cm end-to-end) with Almarc leather wrap, 3ttt Record 78 stem (110 mm long), Cinelli Unicanitor padded suede saddle, Everest alloy two notch freewheel (I will include an Everest alloy 4 notch freewheel), Regina Record Super Start drilled chain, blue Binda straps, and 36 hole Mavic OR7 rims. The original 32 hole Mavic OR7 rims were replaced with stronger 36 hole rims with DT and Wheelsmith spokes. I have the original Alpina aero bladed spokes for 32 hole rims that I will include. There is very light glue on the rims. The tires are Clement Criterium Extra Seta are new and not yet glued on. It comes with the original pump and water bottle. The bike does show some signs of usage. The chainrings have light to normal wear. The pedals, clips and pedals don’t show any wear. The headset top luck nut has some light wrench marks, and the crank arms have some light scuffs on the ends. The rear derailleur has a small nick. The front derailleur is the earlier Record type with the straight band but with the later 3 hole cage. Despite some usage, this is an amazing example of a top racing bike of the times.
