Cinelli Supercorsa circa 2012 – 55cm – Campagnolo Chorus / Record 10-speed. Up for sale is my Cinelli Supercorsa, built with a mix of Campagnolo alloy Chorus and Record 10-speed components. Local pick-up is preferred, from North Melbourne. Queries and inspections are welcome. This is an impressive bike in the metal. It was meticulously put together by Dan Hale / Shifter Bikes. I originally planned to use this bike as my regular commuter, but as soon as it was built, I realised it was too nice to ride around and beat up. So it stayed as a fair-weather, Sunday rider. I got caught in a shower storm once, but other than that, its never been ridden in the wet. Not ridden anywhere near enough, and needs a new home! It has never been crashed. Full disclosure: a careless driver clipped my rear wheel at low speed, but damage only to the rear wheel, which was rebuilt by Dan (who also checked the bike over and gave the all clear). It was most recently serviced by Dan, about a year ago. Probably ridden 200km since then, and it is riding beautifully. The shifting is incredibly crisp and satisfying. Cinelli Supercorsa, built with Columbus SL steel. Built to order in 2012. A few minute paint chips and surface scratches, consistent with light use and occasional locking up. Note some minor flaking on the Columbus decal. All other decals are perfect. Campagnolo mix of Chorus and Record alloy 10-speed era. 170mm Record cranks, 53-39. 12-23 Chorus rear cassette. Italian threaded bottom bracket. Record dual pivot alloy brakes. Cinelli 100mm quill stem. Nitto M106 handlebars (38mm width, short reach and shallow drop). Chorus 10-speed alloy shifters. Note some pitting on the levers. Campagnolo Chorus 10-speed hubs, 32-spoke, 130mm spacing. Ambrosio Excellence 32h rims. Not sure about the spokes or nipples, but they were selected by Dan for period-correct aesthetics. Vittoria 25mm gum-walls – about 1 year old, still got life in them. These are true, and they spin for days. Campagnolo Chorus Titanium 27.2mm seatpost. Rare as hens teeth, super classy. This has some light insertion marks, but not really noticeable in-situ. Selle Italia Flite 1990 pictured, but NOT INCLUDED, sorry. I have a spare black Prologo beater to get you home, if you need it. I have some MKS flat track pedals to get you home if you need them.
