Beautiful MX leader in near mint condition(very few miles) built up with campy 10 speed chorus with record brakes and cranks. There are a few very minor chips to the clear coat and a scuff on the lever. I bought the wheels NOS and they had some oxidation from storage I addressedpurely on brake track and surface/superficial. But I’d say lightly used as a result(they have 0 miles since I installed with new GP 4000s). Overall a very beautiful build, excellent to hang on the wall or ride til you die and pass it on to the next lucky soul.

Legnano 22.5 (57cm) double butted Reynolds hand built frame with Campagnolo Novo Record Components. Bike is in great running condition without any damage from crashes. You will likely need to grease bearing, bike has been stored for some years. There are some cosmetic problems with loss of paint and decals. It comes with 3 Legnano decals for replacement if you wish. The decals are original from former employee at Legnano company and are not reproductions (see last picture). Handel bars and stem are Italian TTT from late 60’s. Stem measures 4.5 center to center. Weinmann side pull brakes (replaced original center pulls). Sella Italia saddle marked Bianchi replaced original Brooks. Campagnolo Record bottom bracket, crank set, chain rings, headset, pedals, seat post and gear changers. Chain rings are 52 & 42. Seat post is 27.2. This is my second 1970 Legnao. I never did this, but do have 3 decals included to replace the ones on the head tube and the seat tube. This bike was used mainly for occasional exercise and was not raced or crashed. It rides very smooth and straight. Comes with original wheels. The tires are sewups and are no longer good. You will need to replace them to ride the bike. There is a decal on the seat post that reads” Eiun Prodotto della spa Emilio Bozzi Milano”. Please look at pictures. Because of the amount of paint chips and decal loss the pictures are part of this description. From Tucson to middle of the country is approx 200.00 Additional info : top tube measures 22.5 center to center and wheels are Campagnolo Record. The bicycle is basically full Campy but without Campagnolo brakes.

This is a very high end Specialized road bike. As you may know, the S-Works line is the flagship lineup of the specialized brand. Virtually every part of this bike is exposed carbon fiber. This bike has full Campagnolo Record componets (2 x 10) that are made of carbon fiber and titanium. It has a Mavic Ksyrium SL wheel set with Gatorskin tires that were recently replaced. The saddle has also been replaced with a Fabic brand model that only has a couple hundred miles of use. This bike has been well maintained and was serviced annually. It does have some cosmetic flaws in the clear coat, specifically on the top tube- please review photos as they are the best description of cosmetic condition. I built this John Howard road bike in the early 1980’s. I bought the Dave Moulton frame number 130 and the Campagnolo Super Record parts from a small independent bike shop by White Rock Lake in Dallas, TX and built it with a friend. I’m an Architect, and this is one of the finest things I’ve ever built. Both of us were avid riders at the time with numerous bikes, and built this one so well, and it was so beautiful we hardly ever even took it out. This explains the remarkable condition of this almost forty year old bike. The seat, handle bar wrap, and a few other components were added a few years ago. John Howard is a true hero of bicycling world wide and won countless championships in his day. The photos were taken this morning.
