ALAN frames were among the earliest to introduce aluminium in the road racing cycling, applying the technique of thread tubes screwed in aluminium lugs with the help of a special glue used in the aeronautic industry. The result is a very light frame (around 300 grams lighter than the steel frames of that time) and particularly comfortable: that’s why it had great success in cyclocross, winning nothing less than 20 world championships! It comes with the original CAMPAGNOLO NUOVO RECORD seatpost with Barale pantographies and a pump with Campagnolo head. Seat tube: (center to center) 54 cm. Top tube: (center to center) 54 cm. Weight: 1641 grams (frame) / 636 grams (fork). SPECS (verify the compatibility of this frame with the parts you want to use). Frame material: aluminum alloy. Bottom bracket shell: italian thread (36mm x24 TPI). (over lock nut distance): 126 mm. Seat post diameter: 25 mm. Campagnolo SUPER RECORD Pat. 79 Rear Derailleur ALUMINIUM Bolts Road Bike (E11). Its made of aluminium and steel. The item is used and shows regular signs of use. There are some scratches and marks, the condition is good, but not perfect. You will find some scratches on the bolts and on the upper black body. Some fine scratches are also on and in the cage. So please see pics and judge yourself. The Campagnolo pulleys are still in good condition, no cracks. The item is very clean.
