DE ROSA Cinquanta 50th Anniversary, Campagnolo Record 10s 53cm 2003 NEVER RIDDEN. Pitched brand new, built and never ridden. Gorgeous, clean and in New condition. Part of a collection. 2 original catalogs included. In 2003, on the occasion of the company’s 50th anniversary, De Rosa makes a special bike, made in limited numbers, the Cinquanta. A celebratory frame that arrives on the market with the brand of King X-Light model. The era of the modular frame begins: five modular monocoque pieces. The frame becomes full carbon and the seat tube section increases to 35 mm. Weights start to fall: a medium-sized frame reaches the threshold of 1,000 – 1,100 grams but De Rosa knows that the improvement in uphill performance can not be separated from safety on the way down. The KING X-light is chosen by Savoldelli, Garzelli, Tonkov. Cinquanta is completely created in carbon fibre, including the integrated head lug, which offers the opportunity to create a custom made carbon fibre bike in more sizes, with different frame angles to be personalised to rider. Cinquanta has a lot of new technology in the frame and we have brought this approach to the components. Besides the frame, De Rosa also created special components, such as monocoque carbon handlebar, a carbon fibre crankset. They are new, De Rosa products of the highest level of technology, made expressly for our Cinquanta bike. 2003 DE ROSA Cinquanta 50th Anniversary was made in limited numbers of approximately 150 bikes produced. All of them were fitted with Campagnolo Record 10s groupset, special Cinquanta carbon wheels, custom full carbon integrated stem and handlebar, stunning crankset. The condition is used, but they show only minor signs of use. One small mark on each of the calipers is on the brake arm that goes upwards to the barrel. Rare 1982 Bianchi Super Leggera in black with 1983 NOS Campagnolo 50th Anniversary Gruppo. Top of the line model constructed of Columbus SL & SP tubing for maximum strength and liveliness. Bianchi size 59 measures 57.5cm seat tube center to center and 57.5 top tube center to center. (59cm center to very top) Frame was professionally repainted by CycleArt in California in 2011 with their Pemium paint job in original two-step gloss black finish with all decals applied under top coat of clear gloss and applications of Framesaver interior rust preventative. Bike has not been ridden since build and was on display at a bike shop in Seattle. Bike features super expensive and desirable full Campagnolo 50th Anniversary gruppo with gold highlights. There we have it… The great grandfather of all new AERO bikes. Designed in the early 80s the aerodynamic oval shaped tubes and special lugs were created to make this frame more aero. Most definatley the holy grail for any serious Colnago collector! It is our pleasure to offer you the legendary Colnago Oval CX with the original Campagnolo Super Record 50th anniversary groupset. In the early 1980’s Colnago collaborated with Columbus to develop a new oval shaped tube that was designed to decrease aerodynamic drag and enhance overall frame stiffness. This new Columbus tubing was called Colnago Oval CX. Whilst this frame incorporated futuristic aero design, the Colnago Oval CX bicycle was only in available for a few years, making this model a collector’s item.
