The Zonda C17 uses two different spoke counts on the front and rear wheel. On the front, 16 aero steel spokes are used to keep weight down. The rear uses these same spokes, but there are 21 in a 2:1 spoke ratio on the drive side to maximize stiffness. With this new wheelset Campagnolo have also widened the internal rim width, meaning this version of the C17 is optimized for 25mm and 28mm tires.
