Vintage Early 1970’s Campagnolo #1035 Nuovo Record High Flange Hubs & Skewers 36H English, 1.37 x 24. Vintage hubs, circa 1971 Rear hub, 126 mm spacing; 1973 front hub, 100 mm spacing; both in perfect mechanical. Condition, with smooth bearings, still packed in. Original grease with some white lithium grease added. Both hubs show some patina, some scratches and blemishes, and spoke marks, see pictures.

Early 1970s Campagnolo Nuovo Record 52/45 Crank Crankset 172.5mm Road Bike (72). Express is an option at USD 60. I think this is from 1972 as it shows a “Strada” marking with no year code and was mounted on a bike that also had a “Pat 72″ Nuovo Record rear derailleur mounted. I bought that bike from the original owner. But please check yourself. The crankset is in my opinion in used to good condition with regular signs of use. There are a few signs of use like fine scratches and marks. Minor scratches caused by the shoes. Some wear around the pedal holes. The inner side of the right crankarm shows some chain sucks. There is no crack where the arm meets the spider (as often seen on other cranks). The chainrings have 52 and 45 teeth. Both Campagnolo, both show regular wear to the chainring teeth. Campagnolo crankscrews and dustcaps (showing a bit of oxidation and wear to the allen key holes) included. The crankset is 172.5mm and marked with Strada only. Overall a crank in good condition, not in perfect showbike condition, but still nice. The frame is untouched, everything is original: paint is in excelent conditon, it has some scratches here and there but nothing serious. The decals are in fantastic shape, it’s amasing to see the 60 years old original decals still shining like new. The headbadge is in great shape too and it has the original screws. The chrome is in good shape on the frame, but has alot of oxidation on the fork shoulders. That’s because the frame and fork were stored for alot of years in improper conditions by the previous owner. There are no dings, dents, cracks, paint touch-ups, or extra braze ons. This color scheme was called “Grecian White” in early 60’s Cinelli catalogues. Size is 59 cm c-c, square. The bike is equipped with a Campagnolo Nuovo Record groupset, Universal brakes and brake levers, Cinelli handlebar, stem and saddle, Regina G. Freewheel, Newbaum’s cloth handlebar tape, Cinelli-Milano soft rubber handlebar end caps, vintage Michelin tubulars. There are NO pedals. Every component has been carefully dismantled down to the smalles screw, cleaned, greased. All the parts are in excelent or mint condition. Some of the components have been upgraded with slightly newer ones, mostly from the late’60s or early’70’s.. The Mavic rims are also a bit newer than the frame. The vintage Michelin tubulars hold air perfectly, but i don’t know if they are still road worthy.
