Headbadge serial # 620. BB serial # 00.190. Brake caliper serial # 177. Easily the most collectible production bike ever made. Commemorating Bianchi’s 100th anniversary in 1985 this bike is #620 of only 1500 produced. Special “cromovelato” paint finish, Columbus SLX tubing, Campagnolo Century finish brakeset, Campagnolo C-Record derailleurs and drivetrain featuring high flange “Sherrif star” road hubs. All parts are specially pantographed Bianchi Centanario 1985 , even the Selle Italia saddle, and 3TTT stem and handlebar is specially branded. Rims and tyres too. And the headbadge is gold plated!! There’s a small decal on the lower seattube from Pedaller’s Bike Shop. 2511 E Henrietta Rd. Time warp condition considering it’s nearly 36 years old, there are a few tiny blemishes consistent with storage/shopwear from being displayed over the years. The original tubular tyres hold air and are glued securely, the sidewalls have a small amount of age related blemishes. There is a slight crease on the outer plate of the front derailleur cage. There’s some yellowing/dried grease on some of the parts but this is easily cleaned up by the new custodian if that’s to their liking. I point all this out as I’m really picky, OCD in fact… No surprises for you. Notwithstanding the overall condition easily rates 9.5 out of 10 (10 being new out of the factory). It is Museum quality, jaw dropping to look at and has so many special details. It may be the best example in existence and certainly a cherished addition to any collection.
